Bedrocked

The children next door—their last name is Firmstone. Yesterday, one of them must have had a birthday, because the front yard had a bouncy castle. It seems that as they bounced they took their Kool Aid along, because judging by what Mrs. Firmstone was shouting, they had started a Kool Aid fight. I did not see this; I heard only the whoops. But I had great fun imagining the children emerging from the bouncy castle, sticky, sugar-high and semi-permanently tie-dyed. Do you know what you’d have then? Do you? Fruity Pebbles.
