Catastrophe

If depravity lives in the details, then divinity lives in the shattering of the expectations that we’ve built from those details. Greco-Roman stories frequently use that overturning for cruelty; the Book stories almost always use it for redemption. And if this day isn’t convincing, you can find an equally good example by comparing Oedipus with Moses.
