According to Popular Science, you can breed foxes to be not just tame creatures, but actually pet-like creatures. This means that they don’t simply tolerate you, but actually see you as part of the pack. When the pet breeding happens, the resulting generations adopt more pet-like personalities. That, after all, is the point. But then something else happens: The foxes’ tails start to curve; their ears get floppier. In short, they become more like domestic dogs.
